Breaking the Silence
Not on the edge of reality,
Only dreaming while awake—
The truth gets lost in silence,
No courage left to shake.
They cannot tell what’s real,
They fear the written word.
For truth is a threat to power,
A voice they wish unheard.
Fools praise falsehood proudly,
Criminals are their kin,
Justice has been buried,
While lies and crimes begin.
Drunk on power and ego,
They plant seeds of despair.
Not once do they imagine,
How many dreams die there.
How many hearts are shattered,
How many hopes are slain,
How many voices fade away,
In this cycle of hidden pain.
Even when the moonlight shines,
Their minds stay cloaked in night.
They fear the rising sun,
They hide from truth's bright light.
Get up, wake up, come forth—
From shadows, cold and deep.
Walk the road of truth with us,
Let no justice sleep.
Let’s rise as one for honesty,
Let truth and love be spread.
Let’s break the chains of silence,
And change this Bangladesh.
