Many acquaintances often claim that stars—or people in general—masturbate to get rid of stress. They say masturbation offers a temporary escape from the pressures of daily life. According to them, it helps individuals relax, even to the point of promoting better sleep.

But is it really possible to get rid of stress after masturbation? While masturbating, they bring various things into their heads and awaken their libido. Arousing lust in the mind is a great stress. However, they believe that masturbation relieves stress. While it might provide fleeting pleasure, the long-term consequences far outweigh this momentary satisfaction.

Masturbation, they contend, can lead to various physical and psychological issues, including sexual dysfunction, reduced libido, and a distorted perception of intimacy. Such problems often surface in marital relationships, creating dissatisfaction, mistrust, and, in extreme cases, leading to divorce. A broken marriage not only results in emotional turmoil but also contributes to a deeper level of stress, affecting one's overall mental health. For some, the inability to conceive due to the perceived detrimental effects of excessive masturbation adds another layer of grief and regret, making nights sleepless and minds restless with the thought of lost opportunities and unmet responsibilities.

Masturbation causes thousands of such problems. So refraining from this act and trying to prevent others from doing it should be continued.

According to them, masturbation brings a lot of happiness. If temporary happiness is the cause of lifelong misery, then it would be wise to discard that happiness.

It is true that masturbation can offer a momentary sense of relief from stress. Physiologically, sexual release triggers the release of endorphins—natural chemicals in the brain that produce feelings of pleasure and relaxation. Why Refraining Is Recommended

Given these potential negative outcomes, many advocate for refraining from masturbation, not only for one’s own well-being but also to encourage others to avoid it. The goal is to prevent the cascade of problems linked to the act and to foster healthier, more stable personal and social relationships.

The Paradox of Temporary Happiness

While some maintain that masturbation brings significant happiness, this happiness is often fleeting. If the pursuit of temporary pleasure leads to long-lasting misery, then the wisdom lies in discarding that short-lived happiness. True fulfillment, they argue, comes from sustainable emotional and physical health, meaningful relationships, and inner peace—none of which can be genuinely achieved through a habit that may ultimately harm these foundations.

A Balanced Reflection

Masturbation’s role in stress relief is complex. While it may provide temporary comfort, the potential physical, psychological, and social consequences cannot be ignored. Acknowledging both sides allows for a more informed discussion about personal habits, cultural norms, and mental health. Ultimately, fostering awareness about the long-term effects and encouraging healthier coping mechanisms for stress may better serve individuals and society as a whole.
